INFORMATION

Butler Medic 50
|
Current status of our
organization |
Due to the tremendous
growth in the western part of Butler County, in March of
2008, Butler County EMS will staff a full-time medic
unit at Station 5 in Rose Hill, which will be designated
as Medic 51. The volunteers of Medic 50 will be moved to
a 'reserve' status, which will allow them to ride either
as a 2nd or 3rd technician on all county medic units.
The current Butler County EMS plan is to build a new EMS
station located strategically between Rose Hill and
Andover and at that time Medic 50 would return to
Station 5 and be staffed once again by the volunteers.
Volunteer
Applications
At the present time, we are not taking applications for
volunteer technicians.
